After that ovulation occurs & you can conceive at the end of week 2 if fertilization occurs.

Symptoms of Week-1⁣

As you are not pregnant yet, you may feel menstruation symptoms like⁣

Abdominal Cramps⁣

Bloating⁣

Backache⁣

Feeling Exhausted⁣

Mood swings⁣

Mental Preparation:

It’s a journey of your parenthood so be healthy and happy together.

Preparing to convey a baby incorporates preparing your body and your mind.
Hormonal changes, stress and tension can influence your emotional well-being and may affect pregnancy.

Be that as it may, considering your necessities and thinking about your emotional well-being before you conceive can help while you're expecting and after you conceive an offspring.

Ensure you're getting enough rest, recognizing your social emotionally supportive network, overseeing pressure and uneasiness and conversing with your doctor on the off-chance that you have other emotional well-being concerns.

Some modifications in the diet of both partners, especially in mommy to be, are needed.

Balanced Diet with all nutrients, vitamins & minerals helps your body to be ready for pregnancy. That also boosts your energy & makes you feel good.

It is important for both the partners to avoid Alcohol, cigarette smoking & tobacco chewing. Your bad habits can affect your baby & also leads to complications in future pregnancy like preterm birth, low birth weight, congenital anomalies, high blood pressure in pregnancy etc.

Nutrition:

Add some nutrition value to your diet.

Start taking prenatal vitamin & multivitamins.

Folic acid is a synthetic form of Folate (vitamin B9) that is naturally occurring in some foods like broccoli, cauliflower, tomato, green leafy vegetables like spinach, sprouts, avocado, okra etc. Folate helps to make DNA & other genetic material. So, it's especially important in prenatal health. Folic acid deficiency can lead to neural tube defects like spina bifida and anencephaly or cleft lip/cleft palate.

Preconceptional Visits:

Preconceptional visit with your doctor will provide you the opportunity to control the things that require to control during pregnancy and increase the chances of healthy pregnancy.

During Preconceptional counselling, Gynaecologist can prescribe you prenatal vitamin, get your vaccine history and can screen you and your partner for STDs and any other complications.

Preconceptional counselling will help you to modify your lifestyle, diets, habits or exercise that may affect your pregnancy. The doctor can control your health conditions like thyroid, diabetes or blood pressure before pregnancy.

You must consult your Gynecologist about the safety of medicines or any Ayurvedic preparations or any supplements you are taking.

By following your doctor's advice and follow-ups, you will have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
